On the evening of March 12, 1982, James Kazewych, a 41-year-old White male, was getting ready to close up his business for the night. As the owner of the Silver Fox Bar, located on the north side of Interstate 70 at Glencoe Street in Denver, he spoke with a friend, mentioning he was about to head home.
