In the late evening of January 15th, 1983, a quiet night for 24-year-old Russell Clark and his new wife at their central Denver home was irrevocably shattered. Russell, a White male who worked at the historic Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver, had been married for only

In the immediate aftermath, witnesses were able to provide a description of the man who fled the scene. He was described as a Black male in his 20s, standing approximately 5'10' with a medium build. He reportedly had a 3-inch afro hairstyle and was last seen wearing a bluish-green, waist-length ski jacket, dark-colored pants, and dark tennis shoes.
Despite this description, no arrests have ever been made in connection with Russell Clark's murder. The case remains an open and unsolved homicide with the Denver Police Department.
