On a summer evening in Denver, Colorado, the life of John Kenneth Garcia, a 36-year-old Hispanic man, was tragically cut short. On July 6, 2002, while driving near the intersection of 30th and Lawrence Streets, Garcia became the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting.
