In the cold, early morning hours of February 17th, 1983, the quiet of a Denver neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a report of a shooting, officers from the Denver Police Department arrived at a residence near the intersection of East 20th Avenue and Holly Street.
