In the spring of 1993, a quiet street in Denver was shattered by an act of sudden violence that claimed the life of a 63-year-old Black woman, Louise Brown. On the evening of May 30th, inside her residence in the 2800 block of Birch Street, the day turned tragic. Without warning, a vehicle carrying unknown individuals drove past her home and unleashed a barrage of gunfire into the house.
