On July 2, 2006, a tragic incident occurred in Denver, Colorado, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Jorge Garcia-Cervantes. The incident began when Jorge and his friends left a McDonald's restaurant and noticed they were being chased by an SUV. As they attempted to escape, the occupants of the SUV opened fire on their vehicle. Jorge, who was a passenger, was struck by the gunfire and sustained severe injuries.
