In the spring of 2021, a house party in Denver, Colorado, turned into a scene of violence that claimed the life of 20-year-old Mariceo 'Marz' Negrete. On the night of May 1st, Negrete was at a gathering on North Odessa Street where he and another man, 22-year-old Josiah Salas, were fatally shot. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner would later confirm that both men died from gunshot wounds and ruled their deaths as homicides.
