On a late summer evening in Denver, Colorado, what began as a simple walk for two friends ended in tragedy. Francisco Gonzales-Saldivar, a 27-year-old White male, was with a companion in the 3400 block of West Dakota Avenue on September 13, 2008, when a vehicle drew near.
