In the summer of 2014, the life of 37-year-old Christine Martinez was tragically cut short in her Denver home. On Saturday, July 19, 2014, police were called to her residence in the 1400 block of Knox Court, near the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard. Inside, they made the grim discovery of Ms. Martinez, who had been fatally shot in the head. The official cause of her death was ruled a homicide.
