In a quiet home just south of the city limits of Pueblo, Colorado, the lives of two men converged in a final, tragic act. On the evening of May 11, 2015, Joseph Jensen, a 42-year-old male, died from gunshot wounds. The Pueblo County Sheriff's office received a distressing 9-1-1 call around 6:30 p.m. from a woman at a residence in the 2700 block of Little Burnt Mill Road, reporting a shooting.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of two men inside the home. The coroner later identified the deceased as Joseph Jensen and 32-year-old Jeramie Klose. Investigators determined that the incident was a murder-suicide, with Klose's actions leading to Jensen's death before Klose took his own life. A woman and a child were also present in the home at the time of the shooting, but authorities confirmed that they were not considered suspects in the incident. Autopsies were scheduled to be performed to confirm the causes of death.
