In the late afternoon of September 24, 2025, the life of 27-year-old Xavier Manzanares, a male from Pueblo, Colorado, was tragically cut short. The events that led to his death began to unfold around 2:22 p.m. in a parking lot located in the 3000 block of West Northern Avenue. At the time, Pueblo police officers were already in the vicinity responding to a report of a potential car theft. Their attention was abruptly diverted by the sound of gunfire erupting nearby.
