In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Colorado Springs, the life of 24-year-old Sheree Barker was tragically cut short. On July 28, 2016, a single gunshot ended the young woman's life in the 900 block of Chapman Drive, near the Pine Creek Village Apartments on the city's southeast side.
