In the quiet of a March evening in Grand Junction, Colorado, the life of 38-year-old Dion Nixon was brought to a violent and tragic end. On March 15, 2017, Nixon was shot and killed on the front porch of his trailer at the James Trailer Park.
The investigation into his death swiftly uncovered a dark connection to the Sin City Deciples, an outlaw motorcycle club. Authorities identified three high-level members of the local chapter as the primary suspects. Richard Byrd, then 49 and the chapter's president, Rufus Billups, 42, who held the title of vice president, and Gregory Clark, 39, the sergeant-at-arms, were all charged in connection with Nixon's murder.
