On April 5, 2018, Andrew David Jenicek, a 27-year-old resident of Denver, Colorado, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts located at the intersection of 20th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in Edgewater, Colorado. Jenicek had stopped at the location to pick up dinner for his girlfriend when the incident occurred.
