On a Tuesday night in September 2018, the Pine Creek Village apartment complex in southeast Colorado Springs became the scene of a sudden and tragic event. It was there that 39-year-old Raymond Daniel McCall, a male resident of the city, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. along Chapman Drive, shattering the evening's quiet.
According to witnesses, McCall was out walking his dog when the shooting took place.
Neighbors in the vicinity reported hearing the distinct sound of three gunshots. When police responded to the scene, they discovered McCall suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
