JeanMarquris Desha Stewart, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Lower Downtown area of Denver, Colorado. The shooting, which occurred near the intersection of 19th and Blake streets, also resulted in injuries to five other individuals. Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds, while the other victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
