In the summer of 2022, on the Fourth of July, the life of 21-year-old Kane Nathaniel Andres Acosta was tragically cut short in Englewood, Colorado. The young man, who was known to have a heart of gold, was fatally shot in what has been described as an act of protection for his mother and sister.
