On July 13, 2014, 21-year-old Charles 'Charlie' Davlin, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, was fatally shot following an altercation at an Allsup's convenience store on Highway 314. The confrontation escalated when a group of individuals followed Davlin's vehicle as he drove along Los Lentes Road, ultimately opening fire and causing his death.
