Kelvin Garcia, 30, male, Hispanic/Latino, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, was shot late Monday night on September 15, 2025, on the 2000 block of Panda Drive SW. Responding officers found Kelvin Garcia with life-threatening injuries; despite aid at the scene, he died there.

Within hours, police detained 41-year-old Jessie Roark. Authorities booked him into the Valencia County Detention Center on a first-degree murder charge and said they believed there was no further danger to the community. In ...
