Eddie Verdugo was tragically killed on April 16, 2004, in Los Lunas, New Mexico. On that day, the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an aggravated battery at 27 Dean Lane. Eddie Verdugo and another victim, Joyleen Chavez, were both found with severe injuries. They were transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital but later succumbed to their gunshot wounds.
