On June 11, 2016, a tragic incident occurred in Roswell, New Mexico, resulting in the deaths of 34-year-old Cynthia Villegas and her four daughters: 14-year-old Yamilen, 11-year-old Cynthia Janet, 7-year-old Abigail, and 3-year-old Idaly. The victims were discovered by a relative who stopped by the family's home late Saturday night and saw one of the bodies through a partially open window. This led to the immediate involvement of the Roswell police, who began investigating the scene.
