On a winter day in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the life of 63-year-old Reuben Tata Baca came to a sudden and violent end. The tragic events of January 16, 2020, also claimed the life of his beloved dog. Investigations into their deaths revealed that Baca was a victim of a shooting.

Authorities identified Fernando De Leon, also 63 years old, as the individual responsible for the death of Reuben Baca and his dog. Following the shooting, De Leon took his own life. Because the perpetrator of the ...
