Death by Force

On August 28, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in Northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, resulting in the deaths of Nicole Amaya, 33, and Bernabe Jurado, 49. The incident took place at an apartment complex located at 9223 Marron Circle, N.E., near the intersection of Lomas Blvd and I-25. Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to a shooting call at 5:21 a.m. and upon arrival, they found both Amaya and Jurado with gunshot wounds.
