In the early morning hours of February 13, 2017, the quiet of a Lynn, Massachusetts neighborhood was broken by the discovery of a body. A resident, while using a snowblower, came across the deceased individual in the snow. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Carlos Aponte, a male resident of Lynn.
