On July 18, 2017, Andres Cruz, a 58-year-old store owner, was tragically shot and killed at his AC Hardware store located on Tremont Street in the Mission Hill area of Boston, Massachusetts. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. and appeared to be an attempted robbery, with Cruz being alone at the store at the time of the shooting.
