On the night of May 1, 2018, a young Hispanic man named Victor Pena, 23, was found shot in a parking lot at 550 Broadway in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Police responded to a call of shots fired shortly before midnight and discovered Pena in a vehicle that had crashed into two parked cars. He was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
