In the early evening of October 5, 2018, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in a Dorchester neighborhood, tragically ending the life of 22-year-old Gabriel Rodriguez, a Hispanic male resident of Boston. The incident, a double shooting, unfolded around 6:48 p.m., leaving another man seriously injured.
Boston Police officers were initially called to the area of Alexander and Bird streets after reports of a shooting. There, they discovered the first victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
