In the winter of 1908 in Boston, Massachusetts, a dedicated 27-year-old White/Caucasian male Boston Police Patrolman named John T. Lynch lost his life in the line of duty. On the evening of January 16th, a robbery occurred at a Washington Street store where several sweaters were stolen by three men.
