In the early morning hours of March 1, 2020, tragedy struck on the streets of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Alan Jimenez, a 23-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot while sitting in the driver's seat of a car near the intersection of Market and Loring Streets. The incident, which occurred shortly before 4 a.m., also left a 19-year-old female passenger with devastating injuries.
