In the summer of 1977, on the night of July 23rd, the lives of several people in Klamath Falls, Oregon, were irrevocably changed by an act of sudden and brutal violence. Among the victims was James L. True, a 25-year-old male who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. The tragic events unfolded at a local establishment known as Uncle Albert's Lounge, a place that would become the scene of one of the deadliest mass shootings in Oregon's history.
