Kendra Dee Maurmann, 42, female, was discovered on April 4, 1995, when hunters came upon a shallow grave along Eagle Creek, north of New Bridge and Richland in rural Baker County, Oregon. The remains were badly decomposed, and investigators believed the body had lain there for months; an autopsy determined she had been killed by a gunshot to the head.
