On June 27, 1995, at approximately 10:40 p.m., officers from the Portland Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 Block of NE Failing Street in Portland, Oregon. Upon arrival, they found that 16-year-old Patrick Curry, an African-American male, had been shot and was being transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, Patrick Curry later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital due to an apparent gunshot wound.
