In the early morning hours of August 10, 2001, the life of 11-year-old Joshua Michael Jeffries, a Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in his Portland, Oregon home. An intruder is believed to have entered the residence in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood through an unlocked door and shot the young boy once while he was likely asleep in his bed.
