In the late summer of 2019, the quiet coastal community of Otis, Oregon, became the backdrop for a unsettling mystery following the disappearance of Cameron Sheldon. A 37-year-old White male, Sheldon, a railroad engineer from the Seattle area, was visiting his girlfriend, Lisa Bagby, when he was last seen on September 1, 2019. What began as a missing person case soon took a grim turn, leaving a trail of questions that, for a time, seemed to have no answers.
