Thomas John Thoeny, a 53-year-old resident of Bandon, Oregon, died on October 13, 2024, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at a residence located at 56081 Spring Creek Road in Bandon. Just before 9:30 p.m. on the same day, North Coos 911 received a call indicating a person had been shot. Officers from the Bandon Police Department and the Coos County Sheriff's Office, along with medical personnel, responded to the scene.
