On December 23, 2019, the body of 36-year-old Hispanic male Pedro Ricardo Padilla Jr. was discovered in Klamath Falls, Oregon, with a single gunshot wound to his head. The investigation that followed unveiled a chilling murder-for-hire plot allegedly orchestrated by a woman with whom he had a prior intimate relationship.
Authorities arrested Tori Devon Hill on Christmas Eve, accusing her of aggravated murder and criminal conspiracy.
It is believed that Hill paid Corey Nicholas Agard $10,000 to carry out the murder of Padilla. Evidence of prior restraining orders between Hill and Padilla hinted at a tumultuous history between the two.
The investigation further revealed the involvement of others in the gruesome aftermath of the killing. Kim Oelke was arrested for her role in moving and attempting to conceal Padilla's body. Another individual, by the name of Griffith, was also implicated in the case. The efforts to hide the crime included an attempt to dispose of Padilla's body in a pond on Cross Road, indicating a calculated and collaborative effort to cover up the murder.
