On April 28, 2024, the life of 39-year-old White male, Ole Hans Rendahl, was cut short in Klamath Falls, Oregon. His death, the result of multiple gunshot wounds, was intertwined with a robbery that had taken place earlier the same day. The events leading to his demise began to unfold when two individuals, brandishing a handgun and a shotgun, entered Tyler's Texas BBQ and demanded money from the clerk.
They fled the scene with approximately $3,000 in a white vehicle.
Law enforcement investigating the robbery soon found a connection to a shooting on Keno Worden Road. At this location, deputies discovered Ole Rendahl deceased. As the investigation progressed, it was revealed that Rendahl had been the driver for the robbery at the barbecue restaurant. During the investigation at the scene of the shooting, several individuals attempting to leave the property were taken into custody, including Tyler William Patrick.
Subsequent investigations led to the identification and arrest of the second suspect in the robbery, Isaiah Trigo. Patrick admitted to shooting Rendahl and to being the first person to enter the restaurant during the robbery. Trigo also admitted his involvement in the robbery. Patrick is facing charges including Murder II, Robbery I, Theft I, and multiple counts of unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm. Trigo was charged with Robbery I, Theft I, unlawful use of a weapon, and felon in possession of a firearm.
