On August 8, 2024, at approximately 10:03 a.m., the Klamath Falls Police Department responded to a welfare check at 3201 Quarry Street in Klamath Falls, Oregon, after receiving a third-party report that the resident had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found the resident, identified as 72-year-old Timothy Allen Ayres, deceased at the scene.
