In a tragic event on May 4, 2020, William O’Connor, a 52-year-old male, lost his life in a shooting incident in a Northeast Portland home. The circumstances surrounding his death were determined by law enforcement to be a murder-suicide.
Portland police responded to the residence to find two men deceased from gunshot wounds. The investigation concluded that one of the men, who was not publicly identified in the initial reports, had shot and killed his adult son, William O’Connor,
before taking his own life.
