On a Tuesday night in Salem, Oregon, the life of 18-year-old Hispanic male, Andrew Ray Rosas, was tragically cut short. The date was September 22, 2020, and the setting was Hoover School Park. Rosas, a student at McKay High School, was at the park on Savage Road Northeast when gunfire erupted around 10:45 p.m., resulting in his death and seriously injuring his girlfriend who was with him at the time.
