In the early morning hours of August 17, 2021, the life of 37-year-old Quaii Jerrice Snider, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in a shooting in Portland, Oregon. The incident occurred around 7:50 a.m. in the Kenton neighborhood, near a homeless encampment situated in the vicinity of North Victory Boulevard and Interstate 5. When Portland Police Bureau officers arrived at the scene, they found that Snider had sustained a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported by ambulance ...
