On the very first day of 2022, the life of Andre Lashun Foster, a 43-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The new year was less than two hours old when violence erupted in the Argay Terrace neighborhood of Northeast Portland, Oregon.
