A tragic story unfolded on the night of Sunday, January 23, 2022, in Portland, Oregon, when 29-year-old Aaron L. Williams of Clackamas was found dead. A sergeant from the East Precinct was flagged down at approximately 11:31 p.m. regarding an individual discovered near Northeast 82nd Avenue and Northeast Milton Street. Upon investigation, the officer found an adult male who had sustained what appeared to be a fatal gunshot wound.
