In the early morning hours of May 9, 2017, the life of 41-year-old Ahmid Salem Hinton, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short on Wheeling Island, West Virginia. The shooting occurred around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of South Penn and Virginia streets.
