On December 14, 2017, 35-year-old Lloyd David Foster was found deceased inside a residence in Huntington, West Virginia. Originally from Michigan, Foster's death was attributed to gun violence.

The Huntington Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Foster's death.
