On a Sunday afternoon, March 11, 2018, the life of 18-year-old Dewayne Lamont Robinson, a Black male from Akron, Ohio, was cut short by gun violence in Huntington, West Virginia. The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue. Robinson, who was known by the nickname "Boi," was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
