On a Sunday afternoon, March 11, 2018, the life of 18-year-old Dewayne Lamont Robinson, a Black male from Akron, Ohio, was cut short by gun violence in Huntington, West Virginia. The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue. Robinson, who was known by the nickname "Boi," was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. Another female victim was also injured during the incident but received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital. ...
