Sallie Patricia Blanks, a 72-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on October 22, 2018, in the small town of Gassaway, West Virginia. Her death was a result of gun violence, a stark and sudden end to a long life. The community was undoubtedly shaken by the violent passing of one of its residents.
