On April 8, 2019, 41-year-old Angela Bittinger of Fairmont, West Virginia, was fatally shot in a residence located in Boothsville, Taylor County. Authorities responded to a 911 call from a third individual present at the scene, who was unharmed and is not considered a suspect.
