On May 3, 2019, the life of Roger Marcum II, a 37-year-old Caucasian male from Williamson, West Virginia, was tragically cut short. His body was discovered in a creek in the Goodman Hollow area of Mingo County, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. This grim finding launched a homicide investigation by the Mingo County Sheriff's Office as they began to piece together the events that led to his violent death.
