On a summer evening in Sissonville, West Virginia, a community near Charleston, the life of 57-year-old Kathryn Marie Springston Sloan, a White female, was tragically cut short. On July 17, 2022, she was found deceased from gunshot wounds at a residence on Walker Drive. Her death was not an isolated incident, as another individual, 66-year-old Steven Sloan, was also discovered deceased at the same location.
